A fine entry level PR resource
EntryLevelPR.com is a great resource for people who are considering a career in PR or for people who are just getting their feet wet (no pun intended). The site, launched in February 2005, gives readers access to a variety of information such as current openings in the entry level PR field (0-2 years) and a resource page that connects you to more PR career orientated links than your average school counselor could ever find. As an employer, you can post jobs or take up the EntryLevelPR staff team on their additional offerings.
Not to mention, they have just launched an excellent blog. Current postings provide tips on how to build a portfolio and the ins and outs of creating a letter of recommendation. I look forward to reading what else they have in store and if you are at the ground floor stage of your PR career – I highly suggest reading what they have to say as well.
More on the EntryLevelPR.com: EntryLevelPR.com, launched in February 2005 and run entirely by volunteers, posts entry-level (0-2 years experience) and internship positions in public relations, communications and marketing. Position listings include those posted on popular job sites (such as Monster.com, CareerBuilder.com, and Hotjobs.com) as well as those posted directly to EntryLevelPR.com by employers. Both jobs and internships are updated daily and listed for one month. Viewing and posting jobs on EntryLevelPR.com is free and requires no registration. EntryLevelPR.com also offers job and internship agents, RSS feed and resume posting/searching capabilities.
BTW, thanks to the EntryLevelPR staff team for including this blog in the resource section of their site. And not to forget - welcome to the blogosphere!

Blake,
Thanks so much for posting the EntryLevelPR.com site! And such perfect timing-- I was recently asked to speak at a local university's PRSSA chapter and was looking to spice up my presentation with some helpful resources.
I've been in PR for a few years and enjoy reading your blog. Keep up the great blogging!
